Miss California Controversy

I want to throw out some analogies that prove how trivial this all is. What if Perez Hilton had asked Miss California what her favorite kind of ice cream was and her answer was vanilla, but Perez Hilton’s favorite is chocolate. Since she didn’t say chocolate she is wrong and is a “dumb *****” because of it and will lose. How ridiculous does that sound? You could apply this same analogy to favorite baseball team or favorite color. If she gives an answer other than Hilton’s favorite she would be wrong and undeserving of the crown. That’s just how ridiculous a lot of people are making it out to be.
