Beauty and the Geek 05x03

Another pretty much crap episode. Before the challenge is even laid out one member of each side gets traded. One beauty goes over to compete with the geeks, and one geek competes with the beauties. Whichever is the losing team, the traded team member will be automatically eliminated.

The challenge turns out to be a really lame game of geeks vs. beauties football. And this should be pretty predictable. The beauties of course win. And even manage to injure one of the geeks, who is sent off to the hospital. An odd moment due to this was Greg the self proclaimed gaysian crying over Matt being injured. Grow some balls dude.

The best part of the show is when Mike announces that they will finally be pairing up as one beauty and one geek. Leticia said it best when she said it’s what she was wanting from day one. Since the beauties won the challenge, they got to pick their partner. To be honest though, I wish the geeks would have been able to choose. That would have been different.

This presents one problem though. There is an odd number of geeks. Meaning the geek who is not picked to be a partner, will be eliminated. Of course Greg the gaysian is one of the first picks. No surprise there. Tiffany did surprise everyone by picking Jim, who she did not plan on choosing until seconds before making the decision. So next week we can hopefully watch an episode of BATG that will be like seasons pasts, and the way it should have been from the beginning of the season.
