I absolutely love this idea. However I would love to see this set up for iGoogle. I already leave iGoogle open that has Gmail, Greader, News, Gcal, weather, and other gadgets. If I could get the iGoogle favicon to display my unread email message count, I would be really happy! It doesn’t really make sense to have iGoogle which already has my Gmail open in one tab, and then another tab dedicated to Gmail. I don’t need a tab dedicated to Gmail since I don’t get that much mail.
